Courting Your Closet
I believe a lot of thought should go into your look so be sure to browse your closet carefully and keep in mind where you’re going and what activities will be involved. This should help you narrow down your outfit choices!
It’s A Match!
My outfit was inspired by a sit down dinner at a restaurant (fast food doesn’t count!) because it’s the classic first date situation.
I knew I needed to be comfortable, hence a t-shirt dress and flats, but I wanted to feel dressed up and make a good first impression so I wore this kimono to complete the outfit.
If it’s cold where you live (like it is for me) you might want to modify this look with a pair of tights. Or scrap this outfit altogether and go with my old standby of dark wash jeans and a nice blouse. Either option would still be totally appropriate!
App-ily Ever After
As for my own Valentine’s Day plans, I’m going to cozy up in this outfit with my true love – pizza 🍕 – and continue my tradition of watching the movie Mirror, Mirror. Shirtless Armie Hammer? Yes, please!
