I’m dying to share this new project with you!
Spring Fashion Update
Spring fashion is probably on all of our minds, but what if you don’t care to drop lots of money on fleeting trends? Meet Rit!
Rit is a fabric dye that is used to rejuvenate and renew faded garments you love (but just didn’t want to let go), change the color of clothing/accessories (that needed updating) and bring new life to home decor.
Thrifting an Old Trend
With that in mind, I set out to thrift something that I could update into a spring trend using Rit. I found a plain white top and knew right away that it would be perfect to recolor for the “ultra-violet” trend. (which just happens to be the Pantone Color of the Year for 2018!)
How To Use Rit Dye
This project is perfect for anyone wanting to dip their does into the latest styles without investing lots of money. Watch the video to find out just how easy it is recolor an old garment!
Note: Fixative isn’t in place of washing your garment. It’s just a recommended step to help bind the dye even more so that it doesn’t bleed. It also enhances the color.

All Ready For Spring!
Isn’t the color of this shirt to dye for? I’m obsessed and am already looking forward to coloring more creations in the future!
Later in the week I will be publishing an outfit that I styled around my new shirt to inspire you for spring. Be sure to follow along (links below) so you don’t miss that post.
