A two-for-one outfit post featuring a DIY purse and way too many colors.
My outfits have been inspired by many things like other style bloggers, fashion magazines, and people on the street; but being inspired by a wall has to be a first!
This pink wall has been a project on my mind lately and so this week I went for it. (I unveiled it first on my Instagram!)
For it’s inaugural use in an outfit post I thought I’d share two looks featuring this purse that you can learn how to repurpose yourself here.
This is sort of a day-to-night outfit post, if you will. Both looks feature this rainbow striped top, DIY pom pom necklace, and bright purple lipstick.
For “day” I paired everything together with high waisted jeggings, a bright green cardigan, and brown lace up flats. Totally perfect for running errands!
For “night” I dressed everything up with a bronze maxi skirt and aqua flip flops that match my necklace. I’m not normally one for flip-flops but they just looked so right and kept this outfit from being too stuffy. (As if an outfit with a pom pom necklace could be stuffy!)
I hope this post inspires you to add a little color to your life. It doesn’t have to be as bold as painting the back of your garage Pepto Bismol pink but it could be as simple as trying a new shade of nail polish or wearing colorful socks with your sneakers.
Cheers to the weekend!
