A Floral Frock For My 24th Birthday

A Floral Frock For My 24th Birthday

hannah rupp the outfit repeater eshakti floral dress birthday fashion styleHey, an outfit from my weekend! I promise this will be the final post about my birthday because the last thing I want to do is sound like is a broken record. But really, I had a great weekend and why not go a little overboard posting about it. You only turn 24 once!

The highlights are I got a shiny new camera lens, I was on TV, I thrifted my butt off, ate lots of cake, failed at hosting a live web event, and got a bunch of birthday wishes from the coolest internet folks. Heck, I’m still finding wishes in blog posts. (It’s kind of like how you find sand in your underwear weeks after you were at a beach.)

Plus, compared to the test I’m taking at the hospital today, my birthday is a much more fun topic to focus on. Wish me luck! It’s nothing invasive but I have to eat hospital food and who really likes doing that?

The fact that your necklace was only $1 has me stunned. The Wal-Mart by me never has such pretty jewelry! The dress is my favorite though, I love the pattern and the yellow makes it really pop.

Who likes to eat hospital food? Uh, my father-in-law. Yeah. He and my mother-in-law will go to the hospital specifically for the cafeteria, JUST to eat the food. I mean, it is fairly good food in a pretty new hospital… but still. Cracks me up every time they’re like “We’re going to the hospital for lunch! Wanna come?” I hope your testing today wasn’t too bad (and I hope the food wasn’t too bad, either.)

Your dress is SO pretty. Yellow plus floral is pretty much the best combination, in my book. I’m sorry your live web-party didn’t work out! I wanted to “attend” but we were gone. Sigh.

Love the mix of the girly dress and the edgy moto jacket. This is an aesthetic that I aspire to in my own style yet I haven’t been able to pull it off due to not being able to find the perfect fitting moto jacket. Good work styling this post! Happy birthday! Rebecca from http://www.daisydisdain.com
