What do you call an outfit that is the perfect combination of floral and polka dots? I don’t know but it looks something like this!
Before I get too far ahead of myself, I’ve gotta let you know that Kristina of Eccentric Owl came up with this look for me. We each played stylist to one another so this is just one half of a collab post!
I asked her what she would do with this polka dot shirt and she totally schooled me in pattern mixing. I love it and I hope you do, too!
On her blog, Kristina is a mix master, with polka dots being her specialty. So it doesn’t surprise me that she came up with this creative combo!
This skirt was recently worn in another outfit post and is quickly getting a lot of wear in my off-blog life. But when a skirt is as cute as this, who minds how often it gets worn, right?
The other styling choice that Kristina made was having me wear these red t-strap flats – some of my favorites in my closet! I went ahead and added lots of round, white jewelry and even a bold red lip. Normally a red lip isn’t bold to me but this was the first time I wore it with my green hair and I was nervous that I’d look like Christmas in human form. I think I successfully avoided that though!
I could gush about this outfit all day but then you’d never get to see what I styled Kristina in. Hop over to her blog to get a major dose of adorable!
Kristina can also be found selling vintage on Etsy, posting chubby baby snapshots on Instagram, sharing cool stuff on her Facebook page, and tweeting funny little bits about life. There’s no escaping her awesome-ness!
