What To Wear With Pink Hair

What To Wear With Pink Hair

Remember when I had purple hair? Well, through a series of (un)fornuate events, I ended up with bright pink hair. You can hear me talk about it, and other hair nightmares, in my new YouTube video.

But if you want to see what I wear with pink hair, keep scrolling…

Outfit: Pink moto jacket, vintage floral button up, teal skirt, statement necklace, silver flats, pink pixie cut

My problem isn’t with how hot this new hair color is.. it’s actually what to wear with it!

I thought with colored hair being so trendy right now that I’d find a plethora of info but was left with endless pages of girls wearing pink clothes with normal colored hair. Thanks for nothin’, internet.

Currently I feel confident rocking loads of pink and having black clothes around for back-ups. But because pink is seen as a spring color in fashion influencers mind, I had to rewrite a few rules to make it work for autumn.

Bright pieces, like this teal skirt, were a fun way to reflect the beautiful leaves changing colors outside. And of course I was naturally drawn to this pastel, vintage top with it’s excellent ’80s vibes.

Since I’m in the spirit of taking risks, I completed my outfit with this great Pepto pink moto jacket and a statement necklace I snagged on clearance from Wal-Mart.

Overall, I’m pretty glad my hair accidentally turned pink because it’s a risk I would never have taken on my own and it may just lend itself to a pretty awesome costume like Jem of Jem and the Holograms fame.

This outfit is perfect with your bright do! I once had bright red hair and found it difficult putting together outfits at the beginning too. You’ve done a wonderful job with this one 🙂

It’s a gorgeous color on you! I went pink on purpose and it was a struggle matching colors to it haha I thought I could only wear pastels but the bright colors and black work well!! I love seeing teal with it 😀

I’ve never dyed my hair but I have heard some horror stories from friends. But I really like the pink on you! Also adore your shirt!

Haha, all the unintentional adventures we take ourselves on…

It’s a good thing you look so fabulous with pink hair! I have a feeling you will be whipping up satorial coordinates like you’ve always had pink hair.

The pink rocks! I think you’d rock any hair color, though, really!
