Fall is back and so are the 1970s! I’m still hopelessly devoted to the ’80s but I can give that up for one 1970s themed outfit post.
I don’t normally succumb to trends but this one was stupidly simple to thrift so I decided to go for it. If you don’t already, I would highly recommend thrifting for vintage trends like this one. It’s easier on your wallet in case you hate it, plus you can get something authentic from the decade!
My entire outfit was built around this sweet floral top. It’s one of those pieces that’s a really awkward length so I called it a shirt and tucked it into jeans.. but not just any jeans.
These high waisted beauties were a diamond in the rough at the thrift store. Even the cashier was impressed with my skills. Hey, I wasn’t kidding when I said I am a thrift store legend.
After I added this slouchy hat, boho vest, and backpack, I couldn’t help but feel like a student back in the day who might have gone to school with my mom. High heels aren’t practical for walking around a campus but we can’t have it all, right?
This is not the last time you’ll see me rockin’ a 70s outfit because I’ve already snapped some more looks where the decade is evident. Don’t worry, the ’80s will be back on my blog before you know it!
