What I Love About Colorful Tights + A DIY Clutch Tutorial

If this outfit doesn’t make you love colorful tights then there might be something wrong with you!

We Love Colors sent me a pair of tights featured in this post. All thoughts & opinions are my own.

Winter is long and your outfits can start to feel monotonous. Enter: colorful tights. They have been my secret weapon to combat boring outfits for years!

My favorite rainbow hued pairs come from We Love Colors because their quality is unmatched and with 51 colors to choose from, how can you go wrong? They were nice enough to send a pair for this outfit post and I was tickled pink to style them up!

Years of reading 1980s teen magazines have supplied me with oodles of colorful outfit inspiration. My mind was set on wearing this dress with these vintage teal flats but I was stumped for legwear until these orchid pink beauties showed up in my life.

Colorful tights are the perfect accessory to take your outfit from ordinary to extraordinary. I don’t think I’d be turning as many heads if I just stuck with black tights! (Another example of this is in my last outfit post!)

I chose this pink pair because they matched the pink in the dress. Being matchy-matchy is kind of a foolproof way to make sure your outfit goes together!

I LOVE this outfit! You look perfect and those tights are such a fun and pretty color! I’ve been wanting to try We Love Colors for a while and I think I need to take the plunge.

I also adore coloured tights. I am not sure I could manage this colour, which look fab on you, but I have a drawer-full of different colours and styles (perhaps a little sad, but they are probably my favourite fashion item!) and I agree with you that they improve almost any outfit. I tend to like them best when they brighten up what would otherwise be a much more sober look – so red with a black suit and boots, for example. I hope you get lots of converts as a result of this post – and are not just preaching to those of us already converted! Kx

I don’t know many people that can rock colored tights like you do!

I wouldn’t wear colored tights out. I would probably wear them to sleep when the weather is really cold. Nice clutch bag DIY though.
