A Fairly Odd Halloween Costume

A Fairly Odd Halloween Costume

I’m just your average kid with a fairly odd Halloween costume…

Thank you, internet, for suggesting that I be one half of the fairly odd duo that is Cosmo & Wanda. I’m Wanda, in case that wasn’t clear by the pink hair, wands and wings, and floaty crowny thing.

I grew up on Fairly Odd Parents and, like most normal kids, I also wished that I had my very own godparents that could grant my every wish.

Unfortunately, they never showed up in my life and I think we know why…

But I did make a wish that I would find the perfect Halloween costume for my newly pink ‘do and you all totally delivered! (In a close second was Jem from Jem and the Holograms but I couldn’t thrift the right pieces in time. Next time, guys, next time!)

This costume came completely out of my own closet and the main parts, the black jeans and yellow tee, are a real outfit I’ve worn in the last month with a puffy leopard print scarf. Funny how that happens, huh?

The non-clothing pieces were handmade in a fairly short amount of time. All it took was some glitter, paint, and a whole lot of magic! I’m thrilled with how it came together and it was a lot of fun to wear – even sans Cosmo!

Only one question remains; if you had your own fairy godparents, what one thing would you wish for?

If I had my own fairy godparents, I’d totally wish for a different hair style every single day! It would be tempting to get them to make my pinterest clothing board into my real closet…

Ok, you are the cutest person on the planet!! I seriously love how you curled your hair like Wanda’s. You should wear it like that more often!!

If I had fairy godparents, I would probably find myself wishing for dumb, selfish things! I really like what Allison said though because I SUCK at styling my hair. That’s actually a great wish!

The floaty crowny thing is the best! I’d probably wish for something along the lines of…obtuse, rubber goose, green moose, guave juice, giant snake, birthday cake, large fries, or a chocolate shake.

I have never watched Fairly OddParents. I’ve heard a lot of quotes though, does that count? This is a great costume! I am a fan of things you can make from what you already have, in case you didn’t know that already. 😉

I would wish for the ability to always write amazingly. Because I wish I could write great things every time I sat to write, instead of only sporadically having good ideas.
