I combined my love for jewelry and for making things and made a long overdue how-to post for a trendy cage ring. (I think it’s trendy. I don’t really know)

Here are the supplies you will need. The plastic canvas is available at any craft store.
Measure the canvas around the finger you want to make a ring for.
Cut that canvas! Mine ended up being 10 holes x 10 holes. My ring size is a 6. (Gentlemen, I hope you’re taking notes!)
Fold the canvas in half and stitch the two opposing corners. Really get in there, you can’t have too much thread!
Cut the excess thread off.
Rock your new ring!
Optional: Add some bling to your ring. Sparkles, jewels, or old earrings would be stellar!
