Cracking The Winter Fashion Secret with Monroe & Main

I’ve found the secret to standing out in a sea of blah winter fashion this season and I’m gonna share it with you today!

In my constant search for new outfit inspiration, I came across a great post from the Monroe and Main blog titled “Add style and flair with colored accessories and makeup“. One of the first lines of the post encourages you to try out colored outerwear extras to bring some pizazz to your look. I’m down with that!
There’s currently a plethora of sources where you can get your fashion news from, but one of my favorites will always be blogs. Monroe and Main recently launched their blog, which is an extension of their other social media outlets, where they dole out tried and true style tips. What makes this blog different is how they break up each post to be short, digestible, and you can walk away knowing that you learned a lot in a short amount of time. What’s not to love?

Disclosure: I received product compensation from Monroe and Main in exchange for writing this blog post about their new blog. All opinions are my own and 100% honest.

SNOW! AH! We have the white stuff too now. GAH. I toats agree the only fashion salvation of winter are accessories. That is why hats, scarves, and boots are so important. I struggle daily to not look like I’m going to a funeral even though my actual clothing under my coat is always bright. Love the colour! <3

Sometimes I feel silly getting all dressed up in the winter just to go and through a big coat over it. By doing that, it’s kind of like I’m keeping a secret that only I know about! lol
